Controlled quantum teleportation between discrete and continuous physical systems

چکیده
Quantum teleportation of an unknown state basing on the interaction between discrete-valued states (DV) and continuous-valued (CV) presented a particular challenge in quantum technologies. Here we consider problem controlled amplitude-matched CV qubit, encoded by coherent varied phase as superposition vacuum- single-photon optical among two distant partners Alice Bob, with consent controller, Charlie. To achieve this task, use hybrid tripartite entangled (interaction discrete continuous variables states) resource where part belongs to Alice, while Bob Charlie qubit is at disposal Alice. The discrete-continuous realized highly transmissive beam-splitter. We have shown that perfectly fidelity depends difference teleport sender's mode, found for which approaches 0 or $\pi$, near perfect can be obtained terms independently amplitude $\alpha$ squeezing parameter $\zeta$. Experimentally, proposed scheme has been implemented using linear components such beam splitter, shifters photon counters.

Relation between discrete and continuous teleportation using linear elements
We discuss the relation between discrete and continuous linear teleportation, i.e. teleportation schemes that use only linear optical elements and photodetectors. For this the existing qubit protocols are generalized to qudits with a discrete and finite spectrum but with an arbitrary number of states or alternatively to continuous variables. Correspondingly a generalization of linear optical op...
متن کاملTeleportation of Continuous Quantum Variables
Quantum teleportation is analyzed for states of dynamical variables with continuous spectra, in contrast to previous work with discrete (spin) variables. The entanglement fidelity of the scheme is computed, including the roles of finite quantum correlation and nonideal detection efficiency. A protocol is presented for teleporting the wave function of a single mode of the electromagnetic field w...
متن کاملDiscrete and Continuous Time in Physical Systems
We investigate the relationship between discrete and continuous time in dynamic physical systems. Employing the common-sense picture behind derivatives, differential equations are translated into discrete-time analogues. The properties of qualitative simulation in discrete time are discussed. It is flirthennore shown that discrete time can be embedded in continuous time in a natural way without...
متن کاملQuantum Teleportation between Multiparties
The paper presents general protocols for quantum teleportation between multiparties. It is shown how N parties can teleport N unknown quantum states to M other parties with the use of M N + qudits in the maximally entangled state. It is also shown that a single pair of qudits in the maximally entangled state can be used to teleport two qudits in opposite directions simultaneously. PACS number(s...
متن کاملQuantum teleportation of dynamics and effective interactions between remote systems.
Most protocols for quantum information processing consist of a series of quantum gates, which are applied sequentially. In contrast, interactions between matter and fields, for example, as well as measurements such as homodyne detection of light are typically continuous in time. We show how the ability to perform quantum operations continuously and deterministically can be leveraged for inducin...
